The Bones of J.R. Jones is the stage name of Jonathon Linaberry, a New York-based roots noir artist. Starting in punk bands, he pivoted to a one-man band project in 2012, blending blues, Americana, and soul. Linaberry writes, records, and performs everything himself, crafting a "haunting stomp blues" sound often featured in TV shows like Suits and Daredevil.

Asleep in your heart for 19 years, Idiosympathy is awakening in 2026 for two big reunion concerts: First at Mr. Smalls Funhouse Friday June 19th and at Big Rail Brewing June 20th (tickets here on this page).
When the band said goodbye in 2007, they left behind two self-produced releases that stood the test of time: The 2007 full length Overachiever In Love, and the 2005 EP We Have Lost Our Self Control. Both were re-released on all the major streaming services in 2025, to the surprise and delight of a dormant fan base.
Both reunion concerts promise to revive what stood out about Idiosympathy shows: thick textures, driving rhythms, memorable melodies, intricate arrangements, and soaring vocals... with both old and new tunes and some brand new twists. The four original members will be teaming up with two new players, John DeCola and Brian Schultz, to deliver the full instrumentation from the albums and more.
The band is also pleased to announce a limited, 100 copy vinyl run of Overachiever In Love. The LP will be available for pre-order through the ticket page here for the Big Rail show, and will be available for sale at both shows (if they don't sell out from pre-orders).

Bob Augustine - Bob Augustine (aka Folk-IndieBob) is a singer, songwriter based in Pittsburgh, PA. He writes songs in a folk and Folk-Indie style with poetic lyrics and acoustic guitar accompaniment. He has been featured at folk events, festivals, concerts and poetry readings and has received much positive feedback as people enjoy his insightful writing, soulful voice, and original sound.
Matt Eddy - Matt Eddy is a songwriter from Tampa Bay, currently residing in the Pittsburgh area. His gentle and wide-ranging voice and sensitive approach to the acoustic guitar provide an intimate atmosphere that enable his poetic lyrics to resonate with the listener.
Mary Lynn Gaydos - Mary Lynn Gaydos is an acoustic-Americana performer and hospice nurse. She is heavily involved in regional live music, frequently performing alongside her son at local venues like Uncorked, and has been featured at events such as the Old Fiddlers' Convention in Virginia.

Leftöver Crack is an American punk rock band formed in 1998 following the breakup of its predecessor Choking Victim, sharing band members Stza Crack & Alec Baillie until Alec’s tragic death in November of 2021. The band has created the new record label RECIDIVIST BIBLE CAMP & Is co-releasing a 7” single with Austria’s SBAM records featuring the new song “White Guilt Atrocity Quilt” accompanied by a major motion music video. The song is also slated to be included on the as yet untitled 4th full length album from this New York City based Punk Band. The B side to this new single is an unreleased track from the 2014 “Constructs of the State” record titled “Brad Sabbath”, featuring the classic Leftöver Crack line-up of Stza, Baillie, Brad Logan, Donny Morris; Chris Mann with the more recent addition of singer Tibbie X, formerly of the NYC bands X-Possibles &; Kissy Kamikaze as well as the Philly based band GASH. Along with this new single, Leftöver Crack are also in the works of reissuing all of their previous albums, with the exception of “Mediocre Generica” (which remains on Hellcat/Epitaph Records) through the partnership of RECIDIVIST & SBAM.

Kylie Koch is a Pittsburgh based indie-folk artist whose music combines Americana, singer-songwriter, blues and rock influences. Her work pairs storytelling lyrics with haunting melodies to paint pictures of the tales that have inspired her work. Her debut EP is currently in progress and is set to launch within the next year.
Troubadour of Good Trouble is a Pittsburgh based singer-songwriter who presents a combination of original social justice topical tunes and introspective, narrative lyrics reflecting his nearly seven decades of life on the planet. The Troubadour’s earliest musical influences include Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, Joan Baez, Woody Guthrie and John Prine offered with a modern edge.

Neon Vanadium is a deeply ambitious, almost cinematic Pittsburgh rock band with a focus on storytelling, atmosphere, and emotional weight. Unafraid to be unconventional, experimental, or heavy. The group was formed in late 2020 by brothers Cameron and Logan Balkovec. Jake Maxeiner tagged along closer to the end of that year, and for a long time Neon Vanadium was known as the trio. That changed in early 2022 as bassist Matt Kustra joined the lineup, changing the trajectory of Neon Vanadium for good. With a deeply personal debut album, Neon Vanadium plans to deliver a very immersive show experience that begs to be remembered.

Oscar Lindsey: Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee to a deeply rooted musical family, songwriting quickly became Oscar Lindsey's second nature. His self-released 2025 LP, Glitter, allows influences such as Elliott Smith and Alex G to shine through sonically while providing a wholly original experience to listeners via personal anecdotes and storytelling. Highlight tracks like “Forever’s Such A Long Time” and "Ruby" take the intangibles of the coming-of-age experience and neatly pack them into a single sucker punch. At 24, Oscar has solidified himself as a songsmith through and through, making introspective folk music feel accessible to the everyday listener, creating his own world within the songwriting that draws fans in through its soul-bearing and identifiable qualities.

Vocalist and tambourine player Jo Roman, guitarists Pat Drummond and Neil Torman, and
bassist Adam Kenter grew up in the same small town of Springfield, New Jersey. After meeting
in high school, they played together in various configurations, bonding over a collective love for
Brazilian psych, C86 jangle, and ’90s noise. They chose the name Starcleaner Reunion after a
1970s children's book about magical beings that return light to the sky. They recorded their first
EP, 2023’s Club Estrella, quickly, with barely a thought for production. There’s an innocence to
these early, kaleidoscopic bursts of alt-rock, but also an instinctual familiarity. The band
approached their next EP, 2024’s Café Life, with the intention of expanding the band’s universe.
They performed live tirelessly after Café Life, fine-tuning their material along the way. As
introduced through new single “Weather Instrument,” new music from Starcleaner Reunion is
their most expansive and ambitious yet, blending together poetic abstraction, recombinant
collage, and sonic craftsmanship.

Way Dynamic, the solo project of Melbourne’s Dylan Young, will soon release internationally Massive Shoe – a third album that’s playful and understated, luminous and textured. Massive Shoe is minimalist folk-pop, art rock and baroque pop, produced and largely played by Young, who moonlights in Melbourne’s beloved Cool Sounds and Good Morning and has played drums with Snowy Band and Kankawa Nagarra.
It’s tempting to only compare these timeless songs to those of yesteryear, but there’s a sensibility, a turn of phrase, that feels deeply contemporary: it’s telling that Waxahatchee’s Katie Crutchfield described “Miffed It” as her “favourite song in a VERY long time”, and Katie and MJ Lenderman have both taken Way Dynamic on tour. At the same time, Sir Elton John said that he “just cannot stop listening” to “Ibiza”. Young’s songs don’t shy away from sentiment, or equally from silliness: on any given song he might evoke a cruisy trip through hell or earnestly lament a miscommunication. Whether the journey is to space or along the Seine, we’re very much along for the ride.

Purple mountains, empty highways, jet trails as the sun fades; Dogwood Tales paint in valley colors on their forthcoming album, Every Star in Rockingham County. Hailing from Harrisonburg, VA in the heart of Shenandoah, the band is fronted by founders and childhood friends Kyle Grim (guitar/vocals) and Ben Ryan (guitar/vocals), alongside college contemporaries Jake Golibart (drums) and Danny Gibney (bass). With its location in its title, their new album is as much a love letter to the local DIY scene, vast farmlands and surrounding mystical mountains as it is a portrait of present-day small town American life. While tracks like “Mt. Jackson” speak candidly about the experience of songwriter Kyle Grim seeing his once cheerful, tractor-driving uncle hospital bound, it also captures a broader, ever-relatable image of a society drowned in hospital bills and anxieties of what could have been, keeping us at odds with the ever present moment.
Though heavy and personal in its lyrical content, the album was born out of a spirit of naivety and experimentation that breathes lightness and excitement into the music. Pedal steel chords and delicate harmonization between Ryan and Grim — who’ve at this point been singing together half their lives — accompany jamming power pop drumlines by Golibart, tasteful guitar licks and wistful video game soundbites. Whether it’s song titles like “Princess Peach” and the football games and Coca-Colas of “McMemories” Dogwood Tales speaks in a vocabulary previously unexplored in earlier works, unafraid of showing as much reverence for iconic fast food and video game characters as they do their grandmothers and local basketball legends. Or the achingly specific lyrics in “Angel Dreams”, “We drove to Southern Kitchen, you wouldn’t even play my favourite song. You cried in your fried chicken, the waitress thought I said something wrong,” it’s easy to feel like you’re sitting on a couch in the band’s attic; sharing stories, ambient Gamecube on in the background.
The humming electric guitars over beds of pedal steel and earnest lyricism find ESiRC in dialogue with indie rock’s current Lo-Fi country romanticism, lyrically pays homage to revered American songwriters in the footsteps of Townes Van Zandt, but ultimately takes listeners on a ride through uncharted territory. It’s a ride through Rockingham county, through the moody valley, the tight bond of four friends coming of age in a rural Virginia town, and a digital age where loneliness is far too prevalent. Thankfully, we’ve got the stars to keep us company.
