Please join us as we find joy and humor in a life that often presents us with the opposite.

Maleena Dominick: Maleena is a musician and singer-songwriter who began her journey with guitar and piano lessons at a young age. She has performed at prestigious venues and collaborated with notable acts through her band, "Chip and the Charge Ups." Now, she is set to release her third album, continuing to captivate audiences with her unique sound and heartfelt storytelling.
Dichro Acoustique: In April 2020, amidst the chaos of a world in flux, Peter Guellard, renowned bassist of Pittsburgh's industrial rock legends Venus in Furs and former member of Mace and The Electric Hellfire Club, embarked on a unique musical experiment. Bringing together a cadre of local musicians, Guellard orchestrated an online cover of the iconic but "industrialized" folk classic "Man of Constant Sorrow," infusing it with an electronic edge that left listeners electrified and from this virtual collaboration emerged Dichro, a dynamic quartet poised to redefine the boundaries of darker types of music. August 2020 marked their official debut with a mesmerizing cover and accompanying music video of Dead Can Dance's "The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove," a bewitching rendition that captivated audiences with its exotic allure. Guellard is joined by guitarist Dirk Miller (Rusted Root, Uprooted), drummer and an established percussionist Tracey Whorton (Venus In Furs, Jenn Wertz Band), and singer/songwriter/dancer/actress Charmaine Freemonk, back in the Pittsburgh area after several years spent touring with the Amazing Acro Cats and moving from Austin to New Orleans to Atlanta. She most often performs outside the band as a solo artist or as a professional stilt-walker and fire/LED flow artist and who appeared in the Netflix series "Cat People".
Fueled by the symbiotic creativity of Charmaine and Peter, Dichro embarked on a journey of sonic exploration, crafting a debut album titled "Stained Glass" at The Church Recording Studio and later in Psychotribe Studio in Pittsburgh. From remote demos to studio sessions, their collaborative spirit breathed life into each track, resulting in a collection of songs that push the boundaries of anthemic darkwave. The band's debut single, "One Lane Bridge," accompanied by a haunting music video reminiscent of "The Blair Witch Project," serves as a stark reflection of the anxiety and fear wrought by the Covid virus. With a message urging vigilance in the face of uncertainty, Dichro captures the frustrations of a world in turmoil. Following the success of their debut, Dichro unveiled "Strangled," a poignant exploration of "taxation without representation" from Charmaine's perspective. With each release, Dichro delves deeper into the complexities of the human experience, weaving a tapestry of sound that resonates with audiences worldwide. Signed to Distortion Productions label in March 2024, Dichro is poised to unleash their debut album "Stained Glass" on the 23rd of August 2024, promising a sonic journey unlike any other. Blurring the lines between music and visual art, their live performances feature bespoke video backdrops and customized light shows, transforming each show into a transcendent experience.
With the release of their latest music video, "Mercy," which garnered 10K views on YouTube within the first few days, and the strategic partnership with PR firm Moon Coil Media, Dichro has significantly expanded their fan base and secured more prestigious gigs, both as a headlining band and as an opening act for national touring artists. Pittsburgh’s premier radio station, WYEP, featured Dichro as their Artist of the Week in July.
Dichro continues to push the boundaries of music, infusing their anthemic darkwave sound with elements of goth, industrial, trip-hop, delta blues, and alternative.

Will Anderson believes in true love — as both concept and catalyst, aspiration and inspiration. During his 34 years, the Hotline TNT founder and architect has found such love perhaps half-a-dozen times. Each instance has prompted some enormous swing of commitment, like across-country move or simply being honest about his budding attraction. It is a hopeful and vulnerable way to exist, away to ensure maximum bruising during the fall of the break up. And so far for Anderson, that is how it has always ended, whether the air has slowly seeped out of some once-full balloon or whether it has simply popped, those expanded feelings expelled in an instant.
This tension is the brain, blood, and beating heart of Cartwheel, the by product of Anderson’s decades-long quest to pin down the surging sound long in his head. But borne of real hurt and continued hope, lit by the flickering belief that just maybe things will sort themselves out, Cartwheel transcends those scene associations to become something greater — a classic encapsulation of youthful ardor, fading into adulthood’s grim acceptance. It is a beautiful, radical, and engrossing record about trying to find what most of us have not yet attained: fulfillment.
Anderson plays and sings nearly every note on Cartwheel himself. He recorded the bulk of these songs during two very different sessions: one with prolificart-pop-punk auteur Ian Teeple (Silicone Prairie), who pushed him to keep working on every idea, and one with bicoastal engineer Aron Kobayashi Rich (Momma), who encouraged him to get ideas down and keep moving forward. But Cartwheel itself is seamless, with notions of bedroom studio largesse and punk simplicity perfectly coiled inside Anderson’s catastrophic visions of true love
Cartwheel is the band’s follow-up to Nineteen In Love, a record that’s influence has spread through ferventword-of-mouth these last couple of years. Hotline TNT toured relentlessly, enduring seemingly endless lineup shifts to become a linchpin of several interconnecting DIY scenes. Their audience steadily ballooned, with Nineteen in Love becoming a coveted LP.

The Velveteers, a rock trio from Denver, CO made up of singer/guitarist Demi Demitro and drummers Baby Pottersmith and Jonny Fig, spent most of 2022-2023 performing on tours with Greta Van Fleet and The Black Keys. They released their debut album Nightmare Daydream on Easy Eye Sound, produced by Grammy Award-winning artist Dan Auerbach.
Growing up in local DIY music scenes, Demitro developed a unique songwriting style for the band through her raw distorted baritone guitar playing and heart grabbing vocals. Joined by Pottersmith and Fig playing on a conjoined drum kit, the band quickly gained a reputation for their rip-roaring and out of control performances. Clips of the band’s live shows and DIY videos made it back to Auerbach, who invited them to his studio in Nashville to produce Nightmare Daydream.
“I instantly dug them,” says Auerbach. “They’re amazing live, and their videos are so creative. And they just sound so powerful. Any time you doubletrack drums on a record, it’s going to sound so heavy. Then you put that together with this baritone guitar player who is so unique, and it’s so bombastic. There’s nothing like them.”

Bathe Alone is the dream pop moniker of multi-instrumentalist Bailey Crone. Taking shape in Atlanta, her haunting approach to songwriting and delicate vocal deliveries often draw comparisons to Beach House, Mitski, and The xx.
Carving her way into the Peach State's indie scene as a teenager, Crone picked up drums, guitar, and bass early on — eventually discovering a distinct identity and connection to each instrument. With a drumming vocabulary more akin to the punk world and ambient guitar drenched in delay, the foundations for Bathe Alone were starting to crystallize.
After tinkering and fine tuning her sound even further, Crone enlisted the help of producer Damon Moon, who immediately recognized an untapped potential in the project. Within months they completed what would become Bathe Alone's 2021 debut LP, Last Looks. Their double EP, Fall With The Lights Down, followed in 2023 via Nettwerk Music Group — leading to tour dates with Beabadoobee, Vacations, Last Dinosaurs, and Bombay Bicycle Club.
The band's new album, I Don't Do Humidity, hit shelves in June of 2024 — receiving praise from outlets like SPIN Magazine, Paste, and Under The Radar (along with notable fellow musicians John Mayer and Sharon Van Etten). A captivating collection of songs unpacking Crone's recent divorce, it's the most raw, experimental, and personal project of her career, bound to resonate with anyone who has experienced daunting betrayal and found a way to rebuild.

Brian Dunne is not your grandma’s antiseptic, pseudo baby boomer singer songwriter. Known for his laugh-to-keep-from-crying, darkly humorous lyrics, Dunne’s work reconfigures the limiting nature of the genre into something less cotton candy young love, more burn down the banks. This DIY ethos, born from a healthy New York cynicism self-conceptualized, funded, and dragged to every willing venue, found an easy home at Kill Rock Stars along the likes of The Decemberists, Jeff Hanson, and Sleater-Kinney. Releasing his fourth album in early 2023, his first on KRS, Dunne is bending the sounds of American rock into masterfully composed, existentially poignant, wildly catchy renderings of being alive.
