The Markers are an original three-piece rock band hailing from Pittsburgh, blending a dynamic mix of punk rock, garage rock, stoner rock, and classic rock 'n' roll. The band is known for its raw energy and gritty sound, driven by the powerful drumming and vocals of Kc Milliken, the deep, grooving basslines and vocals of Shawn Watrous, and the searing guitar work of Marty McElroy, who also contributes backing vocals.
Kc and Shawn share the spotlight as lead vocalists, delivering a one-two punch that adds a unique depth to their music. Shawn, originally from the West Coast, brings a creative edge to the band as an accomplished painter, infusing his artistic sensibilities into the band's visual and lyrical aesthetic.
