NØ MAN is a blistering Washington, D.C.–area hardcore band formed in 2017. The four-piece features punk scene veterans Matthew Michel (guitar/vocals), Pat Broderick (drums), and Kevin Lamiell (bass)—best known for their foundational work in Majority Rule—alongside frontperson Maha Shami. NØ MAN blends chaotic, melodic hardcore with deeply personal and socio-political themes. Fronted by Shami, a Palestinian-American artist, the band's intense discography—including their full-length albums Devils Cast Long Shadows (2018), Erase (2020), and Glitter and Spit (2024)—confronts patriarchal expectations, political oppression, and displacement.
