Mr. Smalls Presents
Main Street Detour is a 4-piece pop-punk/emo outfit out of Pittsburgh, PA known for raw and emotionally-charged lyricism. With moody and dynamic soundscapes, they make you question life’s milestones - the good, the bad, and the ugly sides of growing up. Their small town roots inspire their values of community that they carry with them as they unite and uplift their local music scene. The boys have opened up for budding acts such as Chase Petra and Carly Cosgrove, as well as long-followed acts like The Dangerous Summer and Belmont. The dichotomy of their work lies in the fact that their lyrics confront the hardship and heart-wrenching truths of young adulthood while providing instrumentation you can jump around to and forget them for a little while. The band is composed of bassist and vocalist Shane Cepull, guitarist and vocalist Niko Vasilatos, drummer Dan Falk, and, newest addition, lead guitarist Carter Payne.
