This documentary explores the long-awaited story of the survival and cultural impact of Mr. Smalls, a family-owned, independent music venue founded by Rusted Root’s Liz Berlin and pro skater Mike Speranzo. Blood, sweat, and tears went into turning the 18th-century Catholic church into a legendary music venue and community hub in Millvale, PA, and for over 25 years they have continued to beat the odds, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.
