dogmeat is a grunge shoegaze/alternative rock band from Pittsburgh. After years of blasting basements locally in the city, their debut album "amateur introvert" has finally arrived. Their new sound brings a mix of fast-paced shoegaze chaos, contrasting bright nostalgic melodies with lyrics about loneliness and the search for identity. Blurring the lines between comfort and despair, amateur introvert explores what it means to be young and struggling in a world that has never felt more disconnected, all the while creating a reminder that these feelings don't have to be carried alone.
