Cellar Dwellar is an art-rock sextet from Columbus, Ohio. Mixing the theatrical with the ethereal, the band's goal is to perform with as much personal conviction as humanly possible.
Powerviolets is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Violet Hetson, who is currently based out of New York. After several false starts bouncing around the east and west coast recording music and performing with several lineups, Hetson has finally released her debut album ~No Boys~ titled after a sarcastic sign she hung up on her suburban Connecticut teenage bedroom door after being tormented by puppy love. Violet Hetson grew up mostly listening to punk and hardcore and uses elements of these genres with influences from bands such as X and Suburban Lawns. ~No Boys~ takes a softer, melodic approach to Hetson’s punk roots. Powerviolets’ music is linear, unconventional, and dark, airy with a sense of humor.
