Animal Scream is the Pittsburgh Doom Pop Project of songwriter/producer Chad Monticue, accompanied by Caleb Pogyor, Eli Weidman & Bobby Taylor exploring psych-pop psychedelia that’s dark, sweet & cinematic, a noir-tinted sound in thrall to the eternal groove.
The New LP MIDNIGHT SUMMER: Is a colorful mixtape of doomy beach bops, dream-soaked trembling guitars, hip-shaking dark boogies, and moody LoFi night-driving music dissolved into an unnerving beautiful unknown. Midnight Summer CDS/CASSETTES & VINYL will be available at the show.
Animal Scream is celebrating the release of their new album with friends:
Tory Silver: Pure, honest Indie Pop Bliss who released her beautiful new album "In Through The Front With Lasers" produced by Grammy Award Winner (Jay Som), earlier this year.
Morgan Erina: The ambient beauty, power and magic of Morgan's voice will kick things off in the Sanctuary and haunt the night. She lends her voice to two tracks from Midnight Summer. "Book Of Love," and "Darling's In The Night," the latter will be featured on an upcoming Hellbender Vinyl Compilation with Tory Silver, Feeble Little Horse, Whiz Khalifa and many others.
Special guest Andre Costello will be joining Animal Scream on guitar for a few songs. His latest release "Rocky Mountain Low" beautifully captures Andre's freewheeling breeziness alongside chunky buzzing guitars.
Oh yeah, it's a MASQUERADE DANCE PARTY!
