This will be our end of year Holiday Party so feel free to dress & sing festively - and it is the third (of 3) show collecting donations for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank - don't miss our 2nd: AC Nourish Your Neighbors II on Fri Dec 12 in The Funhouse!
Theme. AIRING OF GRIEVANCES
The full theme is "I've Got a Lot of Problems with You People" but that wouldn't fit on the banner. The full name of the featured act Johnny Honest also wouldn't fit on the banner, but that's a different use of the term 'fit'.
DAN GETKIN - this is also the THIRD (of 4) night of OnlyDansember where for reasons of pure whimsy we picked only hosts named Dan for the month. Dan Getkin leads the roots-country rock band Dan Getkin and the Twelve Six, and he's been stockpiling his grievances all year.
JOHNNY HONEST AND THE F*ING LIARS - Ukulele driven depression folk. Dad friendly, but edgy enough for your Mom. One sexy member and another REALLY sexy member named Brayton. Millvale MF'n PA.
JASON KENDALL - as is the tradition of our AC people (we get to use this phrase because we have existed for *more than a generation*) stretching back to when Santa Claus and Mrs Claus (undercover names Dan and Casey) would host the holiday show with Jason's expert assistance and musical direction, we are so happy to have Jason Kendall back as a featured guest!! This past week Jason (with a little help from some of the AC gang) raised over $13,000 for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank at his 13th annual Holiday Show!!
SNOWBALLS of LOVE: Everyone is asked to support the artists you enjoy by throwing Snowballs of Love at the stage (in addition to applause) to show how much you love your friends on stage. Plus it looks cool on the livestream - which happens thanks to the equally cool Wes Mason Media! They will feel extra fluffy this week, having been laundered by Shawn MacIntyre!
Acousticafe Show Details:
Doors open downstairs in Mr Smalls Café at 5pm for check-in.
Time-slots are chosen at 6:30pm.
Open stage begins at 7pm and runs until 11pm.
Full sound and light system with backline (drums, keys, guitar + bass amp) available, and a house band to back you up if you want!
(ps sometimes the drums are set up lefty, try to give us warning when you need to flip 'em!)

Every Monday at The Funhouse at Mr Smalls! AcoustiCafe presents an evening of open stage entertainment with a rotating list of hosts. Our vibrant community features singer-songwriters, bands comedians, poets and more. Every week, our house band is available to back performers looking to flesh out their work or kick it in a new direction.
Check-in begins at 5pm in Mr Smalls Cafe.
Time slots determined in order of check-in starting around 6:30pm.
Venue doors open at 7pm.
No cover. All Ages.
